Eric Lunde: contact, links and ephemera
I'll admit it, I'm careless with my work. I'm not precise. I rarely sketch or diagram any of my work prior to construction. I construct on the fly. I measure with my eyes and hope it works. Measure once, cut twice. That sums it up.
A little biographical information.
I worked way too long in art, moving from 2D to performance to sound to music to field recordings to video to writing to bookmaking to printmaking to photography. Mostly Polaroids. Which I might post soon enough.
So' I've been all over the map.
I was born in Rhinelander WI, moved to Milwaukee, WI and studied art etc. Relocated to Chicago. Relocated to the Twin Cities where I've remained.
What I present here is my most recent work. It reflects my interests in architectural models, cities and city models, cartography, and the noise of it all.
There's a number of works in storage, in private holdings, friend's storage units. There are a number of works in landfills around the midwest. Those, of course, are the most elusive.
